Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1969, best known for their twin-guitar harmonies, hard rock sound, and the charismatic frontman Phil Lynott. With classic albums like Jailbreak and Live and Dangerous, and anthems like "The Boys Are Back in Town" and "Whiskey in the Jar", Thin Lizzy became one of the most beloved rock bands of the 1970s. Phil Lynott, who passed away in 1986, remains an iconic figure in rock history and a national hero in Ireland.
