Marduk is a Swedish black metal band formed in Norrköping in 1990, one of the most prolific and extreme acts in the history of black metal. Known for their relentlessly fast and brutal sound and their controversial World War II-themed imagery, they released landmark albums like Panzer Division Marduk, Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered, and Plague Angel. Marduk remain one of the most uncompromising bands in extreme metal.
